Our 5-hour bicycle and boat tour will reveal the different faces of Bangkok. From the exploration of bustling Chinatown to the quiet, forgotten, and green plantations. In between, we explore the ‘Venice of the East’ by longtail-boat and enjoy a tasty Thai-style meal.
Experience all of the wonders of Co’s Classical tour by cycling through Chinatown’s frenetic market environment. We take our bike through narrow alleyways and small side streets. Then allow classic longtail boats to transport us further into rural Bangkok. Discover why this city is often designated “Venice of the East” as our cruise introduces us to the charming canal lifestyle of Thais, much as it existed in bygone eras. Scenes of classical wooden-framed homes on stilts, mothers doing their daily washings, and kids splashing away the tropical heat will captivate us with their innocence and congeniality.
Following this pleasant break, our cycle tour continues through luscious green belts as we explore the forgotten plantations of this great city. Surprising not in their beauty, but in their proximity to the sprawling metropolis, this tranquil ride will leave us pleasantly refreshed for our equally enthralling journey back to Chinatown.

Meeting pointAll of our tours start and end at our office at River City Bangkok on the edge of Chinatown (see ‘’Our Location’’ in the menu for detailed directions)
What to expectWe pride ourselves in being an alternative to the standard tourist experience by taking our customers "off the beaten path" to show them the REAL Bangkok, away from Bangkok’s typical mass tourism attractions. We go behind the scenes into the local communities to places that are typically inaccessible to the average traveler, where our individual fascinations emerge.
SafetyOn our tours we do NOT cycle on main roads or in Bangkok’s infamous traffic. We make use of back roads, alleyways, and footpaths where we can connect intimately with the local community. Nearly 95% of the cycling takes places on said paths with an occasional road-crossing, where the assistant guide will stop traffic. Helmets are also readily available at our office if you wish to wear one.
Local meal and dietary resitrctionsDietary restrictions such as vegetarian and gluten-free are no problem! Simply mention it to your guide before the start of the tour. The meal included is typically in the 2nd half of the tour.
Fitness & cycling skillsWe cycle at a leisurely pace and make frequent stops at interesting destinations along the way. Children as young as five years and seniors as old as 80 years (both daily/weekly cyclers) have joined our tours with no issues. That being said, we do cycle through narrow alleyways and upon raised footpaths over water, so a certain level of balance and comfort on a bike is required, especially at a slow pace.
Booking policyWe accept all international payment methods (PayPal, Credit Card, iDeal, Sofort etc) on our website. For cash payments at our office please select ‘’booking inquiry only’’ on the booking form. Cancelations up to 24 hours before departure time receive a 100% refund. Moving and/or changing of bookings is typically very flexible.
