Embark on an exciting day tour to Ayutthaya, traveling by both bus and boat. Discover the ancient capital of Siam, renowned for its iconic temples and historic landmarks. Meet your guide and board a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to journey into Ayutthaya. Your first stop is Wat Lokayasutharam, famous for its impressive giant reclining Buddha. Next, visit Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, a key part of the former royal palace complex and considered Ayutthaya's most significant temple. Continue your exploration at Wat Mahathat, one of the province's oldest and most revered temples, famous for the overgrown Buddha head.
Conclude your visit at the Viharn Phra Mongkol Bophit. Located to the south of Wat Phra Si Sanphet. This viharn houses the Phra Mongkol Bophit statue, a large Buddha statue that was damaged during the second Ayutthaya period but has been fully restored with gilded bronze.
After visiting the sights, board a luxurious boat for a scenic cruise along the Chao Phraya River. Relax on the upper deck, taking in the serene morning views as you pass iconic landmarks such as the Temple of Dawn and The Grand Palace. Savor a delightful Thai and international buffet lunch on board before returning to Bangkok.
