2D1N River Kwai (Kanchanaburi) package
Enjoy a 2D1N stay at the beautiful River Kwai Jungle Rafts in Kanchanaburi, while learning more about the World War 2-history and traditional Mon-culture. Walk the iconic Bridge over the River Kwai, ride the train on the Thailand-Burma Railway and visit the Hellfire Pass, together with other significant landmarks. All while soaking up the beautiful landscape of Kanchanaburi.
Day 1. Bangkok – Kanchanaburi – River Kwai Jungle Rafts
• Early pick up (6:00-6:30) from centrally located Bangkok hotels before heading to Kanchanaburi province (128km. west from Bangkok).
• In Kanchanaburi visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, dedicated to the history of the Thailand–Burma Railway. Continue to the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery to commemorate over 6000 allied prisoners of war(POWs). Walk over the famous Bridge over the River Kwai, part of Death Railway that was constructed by Allied POWs.
• Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
• Visit the Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre that depicts the hardship experienced by those working on the Thailand-Burma Railway. Here you can descend the long set of stairs behind the museum to Hellfire Pass Memorial Walking Trail following the original rail bed. We then continue to Phutakien pier and take a long-tailed boat from Phutakien pier to your accommodation at River Kwai for check-in.
• Dinner at your accommodation.
• Enjoy a Mon dance performance, before enjoying the rest of your evening at your leisure.
Day 2. River Kwai Jungle Rafts – traditional Mon village - Bangkok
• Breakfast at your accommodation.
• Visit a traditional Mon village, where the Mon people have lived for generations. Visit the Golden Rock, the Buddha image cave and the village school. Enjoy a short walk on an easy jungle trail along the riverbank to get to the stunning viewpoint of River Kwai. Then return to your accommodation for check-out.
• Take a long-tail boat to Phutakien pier and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
• Take a train ride on the Death Railway Train crossing the wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs.
• Transfer back to Bangkok and drop off at your hotel. Transfers to other destinations should be arranged separately. We are happy to assist.

• Transportation by car, mini-van, or coach with an experienced driver.

• Vehicle type (car, mini-van, or coach) is subject to the final group size and availability of accommodation — it cannot be guaranteed in advance.
• Pick-ups and drop offs are only operated within Sukhumvit (Soi 1 - 33), Silom, Pratunam areas and restricted to main hotels only. Regions outside the central business like Khao San Road, Rattanakosin, Nonthaburi, Thonburi, Minburi, both International Airports, Ratchadapisek and upper Sukhumvit (Soi 33 and further) are excluded. Extra charges apply.
• This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
• No refunds are offered for skipped meals or portions of the tour program.
• Itinerary adjustments or delays might occur due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances. The return trip to Bangkok may extend beyond 6:00 PM — guests should plan onward travel (flights, trains, etc.) accordingly.

AMENDMENT, CANCELLATION, NO SHOW POLICIES
Amendment
• Will be allowed without penalty if written notice is made within 72 hours prior to arrival. However amendment is subject to room availability and new rates may apply.
• Amendment during peak periods such as Thai New Year (Songkran), Christmas and New Year will not be allowed.
• Any amendment resulting in lower rates or less number of nights or number of rooms, the paid amount is not refundable.
Cancellations
• More than 72 hours prior to arrival: Full refund with deduction of 5% from the total amount for administrative and credit card-processing fees.
• Less than 72 hours prior to arrival: 100% of total amount will be charged.
*Time period given above and throughout the policies is working day excluding weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and Thailand’s National Holidays
No Show or Failure to cancel
Full amount is be charged and non-refundable. If the cancellation is not made in written notice to the hotel at least 72 hours (working days) prior to the check-in date.
Shorten Stays / Early Check-Outs
Charge full amount of the total cost of stay. No refund will be made.

Different policies or terms and conditions may apply if there is an indication giving a specific booking terms and conditions in our booking condition.
For example, some promotions may not allow amendment and cancellation with a tradeoff with a very low rate.
OCCUPANCY POLICY
• Normal occupancy per room is 2 persons.
• Maximum 3 adults per room is allowed
• Staying 2 Adults 2 children in a room is possible when the first child sharing the same bed with parents. Another child must take an extra bed. (Surcharge applied)
CHILDREN POLICY
Children at all ages are welcome.
Age between 0-6 years
One child stays free of charge with breakfast provided when using existing beds.
Age between 7-12 years
• One child sharing the existing bed(s) is charged only for breakfast.
• One child requires an extra or rollaway bed will be charged.
EXTRA BED POLICY
• The maximum number of extra beds in a room is 1.
• All use / kind of extra beds are chargeable before or upon check-in.
• Extra or rollaway bed needs to be inquired in advance for arrangement, ideally at the time of booking. Please always check in advance as some properties DO NOT provide such bed.
• The hotel may arrange a day bed for an extra bed. If the bedding required for the day bed, there will be some surcharge.
• Surcharge for an extra person with an extra bed is inclusive of breakfast if not indicate otherwise.
• Onces where the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error.
COOKING POLICY
Any kind of cooking are not allowed within the hotel rooms and the surrounding resort area
