Rooftop bars are a great way to spend a night with friends and family and you might recognise some places from above where you’ve been cycling before. Here are 9 rooftop bars which can be found within a short ride/walk from our office. Note that most rooftop bars have a dress code of no sports shorts and no sandals or sleeveless shirts for men.
Probably the most famous rooftop bar in Bangkok, famous from the movie Hangover 2. Most visitors have this on their ‘to-do list’ making it a popular tourist attraction. This skybar on the 63th floor gives an amazing view over Bangkok and is located around 1 km from our office.

On the other side of the river is Millennium Hilton’s Three Sixty rooftop bar. Just a 20 second ferry-ride away from our office situated on the 32th floor of the hotel. The bar gives you a 360° panoramic view over Bangkok. The bar is sophisticated but laid back with soft music . Here you will also find many comfortable (romantic) sofas to enjoy the view on each side of the tower. Prices of drinks are similar to Lebua or can be slightly cheaper.

The Vertigo rooftop bar is another Bangkok skybar situated on top of a luxury hotel. The bar gives you a 360 degree view and the seats can offer you a romantic view on the city’s sunset. Being on the 61th floor you are able to enjoy a fresh light breeze. The bar is located around 4km from the Co van Kessel office but is one of the city’s finests and worth a visit.

Located on the 37th floor of the Pullman hotel on Silom Road this bar gives a nice view on Bangkok’s skyscrapers. The bar has a warm atmosphere and boasts a fine selection of wines along with tapas. You will find this bar on Silom road not more than 2km from our office.

Park Society is situated near Lumpini park on the 29th floor of So Sofitel hotel on Sathorn. This rooftop bar is located over 4 km from our office but worth the ride. It offers comfortable seats, French elegance and relaxing background music. The view over Lumpini park is in one word: great!

Rising 26 stories above the Chao Phraya River, the stylishly decorated attitude bar is graced with unparalleled river and city views. The infinity swimming pool on top makes for a perfect picture viewing Bangkok's skyline by night.

This chicly designed venue is made to chill out and presents a 360 degree cityscape views. Located at hotel Anantara Sathorn, this rooftop bar can be reached by BTS (Chong Nonsi station) or by taxi. Unwind with a lovely cocktail or other refreshing drink at sunset is a good idea to end a hectic day.

This rooftop bar is not known by many and located on the roof of a unique boutique hotel in Bangkok. Although it's only located on the 8th floor of Hotel Once, this restaurant/bar offers a stunning panorama on Bangkok's skyline and the mighty Chao Phraya River from a spacious, relaxing balcony.

Just a few minutes walk from our office you can find the River Vibe. Located on top of the River View guesthouse on this bar/restaurant doesn’t require a specific dresscode. The 8th floor gives a great view on Bangkok’s skyline and the Chao Phraya River and is definitely the cheapest and most casual rooftop bar on the list.
